I set myself goals every new year. Not resolutions – they’re too easy to break and always seem to end up being bit wishy washy, like “get fitter” or “eat better”. You intend to do it, but there’s no real commitment.
Dictionary.com defines ‘goal’ as:
The result or achievement toward which effort is directed; aim; end.
A goal is a desired result that a person wishes to achieve, a target to reach. And this new year, I’ve got a big scary arsed one.
I’m going to write a book.
I knew I wanted to write a book a while ago, but I was finally inspired to do it after attending the Ambition 2016 conference I wrote about in November.
I’m not sure what that book’s going to be yet. Maybe about how we do what we do, or maybe I’ll share the trials and tribulations of founding and running an agency for near on 14 years. I have a lot of stories to share. I’ll work it out.
Lets see what 2017 has in store.
